Paddington
A hub for travel and reconnecting with nature

Paddington sits between the bustling waterway of the Grand Union Canal and the grassy acres of Hyde Park. Warm days can be spent on the water, with electric boats, paddle boarding and lunch on a refurbished canal barge. The lakes and meadows of the park offer year-round walks and events; an ideal place to reconnect with nature within the city centre.
Paddington Station itself was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and is Grade I listed. It has five tube lines and also links to a number of major towns and cities outside the capital, including Heathrow Airport. Once complete, Crossrail’s Elizabeth line will also pass through.
There’s an eclectic mix of properties in the area – many of the white-stucco terraces have been converted into apartments and often, behind these avenues, there are rows of quaint mews houses. A great deal of investment has also seen numerous new developments built around the Paddington Basin, offering cityscape vistas from the upper levels.
